GOLF TOURNAMENT
Tim's Memorial
It was the 70s when Tim Light landed in the Port of Andratx, where he would eventually make his home and start a family. By the late '77, he left his job to embark on a solo venture – Tim's. He transformed a quaint village bar (El Quijote) into a kind of "Spanish/English" pub.
The sound of the "Last Round" bell became famous, along with the signs above the bar featuring his sarcastic messages ("Free Beer tomorrow"), dart tournaments, and the annual "Dirty Dozen" golf tournament that brought together friends and golf enthusiasts.
He left us in 2023, and Tim's paid tribute to honor his memory, celebrating Tim's life and legacy. The event reminisced about his passion for golf and his values: the importance of camaraderie and respect in sports.
